IMPORTANT:

Numbers in Florence are in black for houses and habitations and in red for shops, restaurants.., follow the ones in black

By Train:

 From the Central Station S.M. Novella (200 meters away = 10 minutes walking).  Standing in the station with your back to the train tracks, go out the left hand exit, cross the street going to the right and then left to Largo Alinari. Continue straight on this road changes name becoming 'via Nazionale'.  Via Guelfa  is the third street on the left; After about 20 meters, past the restaurant "La Gratella, Soggiorno Venere will stay at the point 59 black.
By Car:
carta stradale		 From the Firenze Sud Exit:   Follow the street signs indicating ‘Centro’/‘Stazione S.M. Novella’/‘Fortezza da Basso’ (exhibit hall). Drive along the wide avenue (called ‘I Viali’) until you get to Viale Lavagnini, turn right at the first traffic lights on via Santa Caterina d'Alessandria.  Go ahead, after the square with trees (Piazza Indipendenza) via Nazionale starts, turn on the first right on via Guelfa, just beside Trattoria La Gratella al number 59 black, you find Soggiorno Venere.

From the Firenze Nord Exit:   Follow the street signs indicating ‘Centro’/‘Stazione S.M. Novella’/‘Fortezza da Basso’ (exhibit hall). Drive along the wide avenue (called ‘I Viali’) until you get to Viale Lavagnini, turn right at the first traffic lights on via Via Santa Caterina dAlessandria. After the square with trees (Piazza Indipendenza), Via Nazionale starts, Turn on the first right on via Guelfa, just beside Trattori Gratella at number 59 black, you find Soggiorno Venere.
By Plane: The closest airport is ‘Aeroporto A. Vespucci’ in Florence. The airport has a shuttle bus to the S.M. Novella station which leaves every half hour.   Alternatively, there is also a 24 hour taxi service.
